One more dies of poisonous mushroom

JOWAI: After two persons died due to consumption of wild mushroom at Lamin village, Amlarem Sub-Division in West Jaintia Hills, another victim died in NEIGRIHMS hospital on Wednesday.
Headman of the village Golden Gashnga has confirmed that 16-year-old Synran Khonglah passed away around 3:30 pm on Wednesday. She was the sister of late Katdilia, who passed away last Wednesday after consuming wild mushroom that was collected from a nearby jungle in the village.
Three other victims are still under treatment in the hospital and a seven-year-old boy is in Woodland Hospital, Shillong.
