Sanbor provides sanitisers, PPE, ration

SHILLONG: South Shillong MLA Sanbor Shullai, on Thursday, handed over essential items including 1,500 hand sanitiser and 5,000 masks to the village councils, Dorbar Shnong, welfare committees, NGOs and religious heads which will be distributed to the BPL families in the constituency, a statement issued here said.
During the meeting with stakeholders, Shullai also handed over hand spray machine, gloves, raincoat, PPE kits, screening machine and Bactafree tablet to disinfect the constituency. The MLA also distributed the second phase of free ration to 1,500 registered genuine beneficiaries of his constituency and various religious institutions.
The expenses incurred by the legislator have been met from his salary. A sum of Rs 10 lakh was used to avail the facilities. The meeting also aimed to create awareness on COVID-19 amongst the locals.
