CRPF distributes ration, hygiene kits

SHILLONG: The CRPF distributed ration and hygiene kits to the BPL families in the city on Friday.
The 67 Bn CRPF conducted civic action programme at three different localities in Shillong.
As part of the programme, the Battalion distributed 300 packages of ration (each comprising of 4 kgs of rice) and 300 hygiene kits (each comprising of 2 bathing soap, 1 sanitiser of 100 ml, 1 detergent powder, Vitamin B & C half strips and five facemasks) to BPL families at Jaiaw Langsning, Mawlai Iewrynghep and Motsyiar.
The CRPF also donated two spraying machines, two Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) kits and 20 ltrs of Sodium Hypochlorite solution to the Dorbar Shnongs of the three localities. Sunit Varshney, Commandant 67 Bn CRPF, Abhishek Yadav, Wankar Sandip R and other officials were part of this programme.
Like their previous effort to help the needy, the CRPF went door to door for sensitising the locals about COVID-19.
