NONGSTOIN: RKM, Sohra helped around 1500 households from 60 villages by distributing essential commodities in remote areas in West Khasi Hills recently.
Each household received 25kg of rice, 5kg of dal during the distribution of relief.
The relief was given only to those households which are badly affected by the COVID-19 lockdown.
Besides the essential commodities, face masks were also distributed to the villagers.
It was also informed that recently, the team of Ram Krishna Mission has also donated 100 PPE and 19000 cloth masks in West Khasi Hills.
