NONGSTOIN: The District Magistrate, West Khasi Hills, T Lyngwa, sealed the front entrance of the Nongstoin market after public violated distancing norm on Monday.
Lyngwa said that the crowd gathered in the market after some shops were opened without the permission from the authorities and despite the government allowing only selected shops to open across districts. The people rushed into the market violating all norms, he added.
