25 pc of local taxis to operate in Jowai

JOWAI: The West Jaintia Hills Deputy Commissioner has issued a notification in connection with the arrangement of operation of 25 per cent of local taxis in Jowai town provided they have passes from the District Transports Officer, Jowai. Drivers are to strictly follow all guidelines issued by the government and health department including wearing of masks, social distancing, spitting in public places, hand washing with soap besides others.
