25-year-old brutally beaten to death

Nongpoh: In a suspected murder case in Ri Bhoi district, a 25-year-old man identified as Bringson Lyngdoh died after being brutally beaten by unknown miscreants at Mawdwar village under Bhoirymbong area in Ri Bhoi.
As per sources, the deceased who hails from Nongtarian village was a labourer in one of the business establishments (furniture) at Mawdwar village. It was informed that he was brutally beaten with sharp weapons and iron rods.
Lyngdoh’s body was found by his relatives on Thursday.
) It had severe head injuries. He was immediately shifted to Bhoirymbong CHC for treatment, but unfortunately, he succumbed to his injuries and died on the way to the hospital.
On enquiry, the village leaders of Mawdwar and the police said the exact timing of the incident was not known.
The police are trying to nab the miscreants who were involved in this heinous crime. President of the Hynniewtrep People Forum (HPF), Apbor Nongrum strongly condemned the incident and urge the police to thoroughly investigate the matter and booked those involved under stringent sections of the law.
