SDO clarifies on student body’s allegation

SHILLONG: The SDO (Civil) of Dadenggre, Sayid F Hamid, has clarified that the allegations of Garo Students’ Union Raksamgre Regional Unit with regard to abusing the union general secretary is not true.
The SDO, in a statement, said that such an incident never happened. “I have been given immense love and respect by the people here and will never, even in my wildest dreams, think of saying bad things about them or any organisation. I am available 24/7 for the people for any issues or queries,” the statement said. The GSU had earlier alleged that the SDO had abused the general secretary of the union.
