SHILLONG: The team of national volunteers representing Meghalaya for facilitating the return of the state people, who are stranded in different parts of the country, on Thursday, attended a meeting with the volunteers’ team in charge of Tamil Nadu and South zone, Savious Chullai, for the evacuation process, sources said.
The state team of national volunteers, with its convener Daniel Stone Lyngdoh, has set up zones all over the country for bringing back stranded people from Meghalaya.
