Meghalaya alert on state’s visitors to GMCH, BBCI

GUWAHATI: Meghalaya government has appealed to any person from the state who might have visited Guwahati Medical College and Hospital or B Barooah Cancer Institute (BBCI) in Guwahati for treatment or other purposes during the last 14 days since April 23, to register themselves by calling 108.

These persons have also been asked to undergo strict home quarantine along with their family members for the next 14 days.

It may be mentioned that Guwahati Medical College and Hospital and B Barooah Cancer Institute have been made containment zones with effect from May 9 after detection COVUD-19 patients including a doctor related to these two institutions.
