2 more test COVID-19 positive in Assam, tally up to 91

GUWAHATI: Two more persons, related to the COVID-19 positive case detected at Aloo Godam (M S Road Fancy Bazar) in Guwahati case, test COVID-19 positive in Guwahati, according to State Health Minister, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma.

With this the state tally of COVID-19 positive patients has gone up to 91 including 41 recovered patients, 46 active cases, two deaths and two migrated.

“To oversee the evacuation of two new #COVID19 positive cases, I went to Kumarpara along with officials. They have been transferred to Mahendra Mohan Choudhury Hospital (MMCH). Both the patients were asymptomatic, and were found through contact tracing. There is no need to fear,” tweeted Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma.
