SHILLONG: Another corona care centre at National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) campus, in Umsawli was inaugurated by Health and Family Welfare Minister AL Hek on Saturday.
The new corona centre with 40 rooms can accommodate up to about 81 occupants, an official statement said.
The centre is equipped with basic requirements like in-house kitchen, sample collection centre, duty rooms for doctors and nurses, areas for donning and doffing of PPE, as well as an isolated sterile area to ensure safety of all staff.
