Asikandi village has four Village Employment Councils (VECs)- Asikandi-I, Asikandi-II, Asikandi-III and Asikandi-IV. Earlier the FIR was filed by the block official against VEC Secretary of Asikandi-I, Mozidur Rahman.
The fresh FIR against Rahman was filed with the officer in charge of the Phulbari police station by Unus Ali and Abdul Bakkit for allegedly misusing their deceased fathers’ names namely- Mizal Hoque Munshi and Ashraf Ali.
