1471 stranded persons from Nagaland opt to stay back

Kohima: Nagaland Government has informed that a total of 18,255 citizens of the state are stranded in different parts of the country have filled up the Returnees Declaration Forms on the portal for availing the one-time assistance for Rs 10,000 and a total of 1,471 persons have voluntarily opted for staying back as filled up the required forms on the portal. According to an official release briefing, Nagaland Principal Secretary for Home Abhijit Sinha informed that 47 stranded citizens arrived Dimapur on Sunday around 7 PM by the special train (New Delhi to Dibrugarh).
Of the 47, one person from Assam left in a private vehicle and three buses with 45 persons left for Arunachal Pradesh from the station. He also informed that a total of 1,382 people from different parts of the country have arrived Nagaland till Sunday, the release said. (UNI)
