SHILLONG: BDO & Programme Officer, MGNREGS, Demdema C&RD Block, West Garo Hills, PR Sangma has taken over the functions of Askikhandi VEC and Moloy Manchang K Sangma and Roshan Koch were appointed as caretakers, an order issued on Tuesday said.
The order came after the secretary of Askikhandi VEC was suspended with immediate effect after an FIR was filed against him on the irregularities in the implementation of MGNREGS.
