SHILLONG: The Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills on Friday informed that additional listed textiles and readymade garment shops will open on Saturday, Monday and Tuesday as well as June 3 and 4 between 9 am and 6 pm in Shillong urban agglomeration including areas failing under Umshyrpi bridge up to 7th Mile, Upper Shillong of Mylliem C&RD Block and all areas falling under census towns of Mawlai and Mawpat C&RD Blocks.
Further, the DC also informed that in the same regions additional listed stores selling clothes for new born babies, kitchen utensils and appliance, household electronics, umbrella and raincoats besides automobile showrooms and optical stores will open on Saturday between 9 am and 6 pm.
