State BJP all praise for Modi government

SHILLONG: The BJP Meghalaya Unit on Monday lauded the efforts put in by the NDA government at the centre and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for shaping the route of a New India on the occasion of one year of Prime Minister Narendra Modi 2.0.
Briefing newsmen at the BJP office in Shillong, Meghalaya Health Minister, AL Hek said that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi led NDA government has contributed immensely towards rapid strides in respect of agriculture, farming, eradicating poverty or building national integrity.
On the various initiatives undertaken by the centre in Meghalaya, Hek said that the centre has been continuously providing all the financial help needed.
He informed that the Tribal Ministry sanctioned Rs 442 crore which helped in coming up with research centre in Garo Hills, besides fishery other sectors. He added that huge amount was also sanctioned for the State to conduct National Games 2020.
