SHILLONG: Miscreants broke into the rented accommodation of the Government Chief Whip Marcuise N Marak at Pohkseh Central in Shillong.
The incident happened between June 3 and 4 when unknown miscreants broke into the residence of Williamnagar MLA.
His PS, A Warlarpih has lodged a complaint as the MLA is currently camping in his constituency.
Marak said that this is the second time that a burglary attempt has been made at the rented house.
He said that when the lockdown began, a similar incident had occurred but he did not file an FIR.
They were probably looking for cash as other household items have not been stolen, he said.
