KVK conducts animal health camp in SGH

TURA: The Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), South Garo Hills organised an animal health camp-cum-awareness programme at Gonggangre village on Saturday.
Under the health camp, foot and mouth disease (FMD) vaccination for cattle and treatment against ear infection, hump sore, parasitic diarrhoea, skin infection and nutritional complications were conducted.
Senior Scientist & Head, Dr A Haribhushan exhorted all participants to bring their livestock for timely vaccination against FMD and other diseases and requested that they consult the department’s expert regarding any kind of diseases and health problems in future.
Altogether 60 numbers of cattle were vaccinated against FMD.
