29 new COVID-19 cases detected in Mizoram, tally up to 71

GUWAHATI:  Twenty-nine  new COVID-19 positive cases  – 16 males and 13 females –were confirmed at Zoram Medical College (ZMC) lab  in Mizoram on Tuesday afternoon. With the new cases the total number of COVID-19 cases in Mizoram has gone up to 71.

Out of them  28 are from Lunglei District, one from Lawngtlai District. All of them are aged  between 18-28 years  and  are under quarantine, showing no symptoms.  Two of them had returned from West Bengal, four from Goa, 18 from Delhi, two from Haryana, two from Chattisgarh and one Maharashtra.
