70-year-old tests positive for COVID-19 in Meghalaya

SHILLONG: Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad Sangma has informed that a 70-year-old person from Umsamlem village, Ri- Bhoi District has tested positive for COVID-19  taking the total tally of positive cases detected so far in the state to 40 including 26 active cases.

The Chief Minister said that the person who has a history of respiratory problems, was admitted in the isolation ward of Robert Hospital, where his samples were collected, tested and found positive on Tuesday.
