GUWAHATI: In view of of detection of COVID-19 positive cases, four more areas in Guwahati city have been declare containment zones by the administration with immediate effect from Thursday.
Containment zone at Kushal Nagar, Bamunimaidan area is bounded by Kushalnagar Road to north, Faculty HS School to south, residences of Dimbeswar Das and Jyotish Tamuli to east and residences of Guru Das and others to the west.
Containment zone at Birubari area in the city is bounded by Kali Mandir Path to north, Bir Chilarai Path to South, Professors’ Colony/ Dakagiri Path to east and R K Mission to west.
Containment zone at Athgaon Pukhuri Par area is bounded by Athgaon Pukhuri to North, Kali Mandir to South, Athgaon Kabarsthan to east and residence of Mukuda Sarkar to west.
Containment zone at Barsapara area in the city is bounded by residence of Suman Bihulia, residence of Md Monsur to South, Bhupen Hazarika path to east and residence of Manik Talukdar to west.
