JOWAI: The Deputy Commissioner of West Jaintia Hills has asked all licensed arms holders, who issued or renewed their license prior to December 31, 2016, to submit it along with the residential certificate from the respective headman within June 20.
Further, the EPIC of the license holder and two passport size photographs will also have to be attached.
Meanwhile, persons with three licensed arms have been directed to deposit the third firearm in the DC’s office by December 13 as per amended Act.
