Himanta detected with kidney stone, treated in GMCH

GUWAHATI: Assam’s commander-in-chief in the war against COVID-19 pandemic, health minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma has been detected with kidney stone after he had under gone clinical test following excruciating pain in stomach. He has been treated by doctors in Guwahati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH).

“After an episode of extreme pain in stomach, doctors in GMCH have detected a kidney stone measuring 3.76 mm through Ulltra Sono Graphy in VUJ position. Taking saline and injections to overcome the pain. Will take rest for the day,” tweeted Dr Sarma.
