Containment zone tag lifted from households

NONGPOH: Ri Bhoi Deputy Commissioner RM Kurbah on Wednesday removed the containment zone tag from 13 households of Umsamlem (Khliehshnong) village where the 70-year-old man, who was on Tuesday declared to be a false positive case, hailed from.
The man is currently undergoing treatment at Dr H Gordon Roberts Hospital for other ailments.
However, the 13 households have been advised to strictly maintain social distancing of six (6) feet, and follow other health protocols.

Meanwhile, the Ri-Bhoi Youth Organization (RBYO) has appealed the Health department to be cautious with regard to information on COVID-19 positive cases following the detection of the false positive case.
