CM Conrad, Speaker Metbah vote in RS polls

SHILLONG: Rajya Sabha election in Meghalaya  has got underway here on Friday morning and all members of the State Assembly including the Chief Minister Conrad Sangma, Speaker Metbah Lyngdoh and the leader of the Opposition, Dr Mukul Sangma have strictly adhered to health protocols put in place in Assembly building to cast their votes.

The protocols like social distancing, hand washing etc. have been put in place by the Chief Electoral Officer, Meghalaya during Rajya Sabha polls in view of the COVID-19 pandemic.
