MDC takes stock of bridge work

SHILLONG: The NPP MDC of Sohryngkham, Pyniaid Sing Syiem, inspected the under-construction bridge to connect Umpling (at Umbah) and Rynjah which had been partially washed away by heavy rain.
The bridge was being constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 5 crore under the Central Road Funds. The construction stopped due to heavy rain and lockdown. Syiem said that he wished to see the construction work of the bridge and thanked the officers for assuring to expedite the work.
