SHILLONG: Health and Family Welfare Minister, AL Hek has urged everyone to promote locally made goods.
Inaugurating a new showroom, Alpine Mart, a retail outlet for disposables, baking accessories and COVID items here in the city on Saturday, Hek said that several goods are being produced in the state and it is high time that people promote local items.
He said even Prime Minister Narendra Modi has urged everyone to use local goods which will also add to the economy of the state and the country.
