Achievement

Pynsuklin Syiemiong, daughter of Elder K Lyngkhoi and N Syiemiong and wife of Kitkupar C Shangpliang, residing in Jaiaw Lumbatemon, has been conferred the degree of Doctor Of Philosophy in English Language Education from the English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad (Shillong Campus). Her thesis is on “Classroom Management: A Study of Teacher Practices and Effectiveness in the Primary School Classrooms in the East Khasi Hills district of Meghalaya”, under the supervision and guidance of Prof Dr. T K Kharbamon, Director, EFL University, Shillong Campus. Pynsuklin Syiemiong is also currently serving as Asst Prof in English, Sankardev College.
