2 NSCN cadres, 1 linkman arrested

GUWAHATI: Troops of Indian Army in a joint operation with Arunachal Pradesh Police apprehended two cadres and an Over Ground Worker (OGW) belonging to NSCN (IM) near Zedua in Longding District of Arunachal Pradesh.

Based on a specific input, the joint team launched an operation and apprehended the individuals from the area. The two apprehended militants were identified as Takha Naham and Tonglong Wangjen  and the over ground worker as Chakpha Wangsu.

The team also recovered two .32 pistols, six live rounds of ammunition, three mobile phones, 10 gms of opium and Rs 5000 in cash from the insurgents.
