Achievement

Abir Suchiang has been conferred PhD degree in English Language Education from the English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad, (Shillong Campus), for his thesis ‘Visual Literacy as Scaffolding for English Language Learning among the Students of Secondary Schools under the Meghalaya Board of School Education’. Suchiang had worked under the supervision of Prof TK Kharbamon, Director i/c, English and Foreign Languages University. Suchiang is currently serving as an Assistant Registrar i/c and Assistant Professor in the Dept of Journalism and Mass Communication, EFL University, Shillong campus. He is the son of (L) BK Deb and HS Suchiang and husband of Dr Suktilang Majaw of Mawlai Kynton Massar.
