Fresh extraction of coal in WJH

SHILLONG: Though the government had denied illegal mining of coal in the past, fresh extraction of mining was detected on Friday.
Following the illegal mining of coal, M.Syrti, Divisional Mining Officer, West Jaintia Hills filed an FIR based on the complaint of one Damehi Lamare.
Lamare had lodged the complaint with the West Jaintia Hills DC in connection with fresh extraction and dumping of coal at Khliehrangnah area in violation of the Supreme Court order.
