DARJEELING: Thousands of Gorkha servicemen, who have retired from Indian Military services, are ready to serve the motherland once more if “Bharat Sarkar” calls them to face China’s aggression into Indian territory, according to retired Subedar Naik Ringa Tamang.
“Chinese aggression into the Indian territory is not at all acceptable, and if situation demands we are ready to shoulder weapons to face the attackers,” Ringa Tamang, who was with the dreaded Gorkha Regiment and posted in the Poonch sector, said. Tamang heads the Gorkha National Ex-Servicemen Organisation, affiliated to the GNLF. (UNI)
