Assam’s ADGP Deepak Kumar to become Director of NEPA

GUWAHATI:  Assam government has effected a reshuffle in Assam Police department in the ranks of Additional Director General (ADGP), Additional Superintendent (ASP) and Deputy Superintendent (DSP)/ Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO).

According to a notification issued by the state Home Department, Deepak Kumar, ADGP has been put under the service of Ministry of Home Affairs who will take charge as North Eastern Police Academy (NEPA) for an initial period of five years.

K V Singh Deo, ADGP, BI (EO) has been given additional charge of TAP.

G P Singh .ADGP (Law and Order) has been given additional charge of the Special Task Force (STF).

In addition, nineteen police officials in the rank of DSP and SDPO have been promoted   to  ASP ranks and transferred to various places of their new assignments.
