SHILLONG: Complying with the government’s order, the Central Puja Committee (CPC) has urged everyone to refrain themselves from visiting temples during the month of Shravana.
“CPC, Meghalaya, requests all devotees to refrain from entering to temples for performing any form of rituals to the deity — Lord Shiva,’’ the CPC said in a statement on Sunday
However, daily rituals performed by priests may continue without presence of devotees,” the statement added.
