NONGPOH: In a bid to lend a helping hand to the COVID-19 warriors in the state, the Nongpoh Town Committee (NTC) distributed PPE kits to media persons in Nongpoh on Wednesday.
NTC general secretary, Rayonald Kharkamni, said that media persons have a big role in the fight against COVID-19 and they too are amongst one of the vulnerable frontline workers.
On the other hand, Kharkamni urged the people of Nongpoh area and whole Ri Bhoi including shopkeepers to strictly adhere to all health protocols as their contribution to the fight against COVID-19.
