SHILLONG: Legislator of Raksamgre constituency, West Garo Hills district Benedic R Marak led the way by taking a swab test for COVID-19 at the ISBT screening and testing centre on the outskirts of Tura on Monday upon his return from Shillong.
Marak is one of the first legislators to go for a COVID-19 test after the West Garo Hills district administration issued a directive making it mandatory for all travellers coming into the region from East Khasi Hills and Ri-Bhoi district to take the test and follow the guidelines.
