Arunachal sets up COVID hospital in MLA apartment

GUWAHATI: Arunachal Pradesh government has given its nod for setting up of a COVID-19 hospital at the MLA Apartment in Itanagar to increase the number of beds for COVID patients in the state.

“Approval is accorded for setting up of dedicated #Covid19 Hospital at MLA apartment today. While catering to need for better infrastructural facility, this will also ensure safety of our frontline health workers. I thank all Hon’ble MLAs for the support in this noble cause,” tweeted the Chief Minister Pema Khandu.

Meanwhile, tally of COVID-19 cases in Arunachal Pradesh has risen to 462. There are at present 306 active cases while 153 patients have recovered from the disease. The state has reported three COVID-19 related deaths so far.
