KSU donates food, money to family in SWKH

MAWKYRWAT: The Khasi Students’ Union South West Khasi Hills District, on Monday, donated essentials as well as some amount of money to an underprivileged family at Kensimphlang village, under Mawkyrwat C&RD Block.
The family, comprising Klastar Lyngdoh Marshilong and his late wife, Kyntiewlin Thongni and their four children, has been struggling for food, especially after the nationwide lockdown was declared due to COVID-19.
After learning about the family, the Union, led its president, Forwardman Nongrem and KSU Ranikor Circle president, Marconi Thongni, visited them and donated essentials commodities and money to provide aid to their ordeals.
