2 more die in Assam,1060 COVID patients discharged

GUWAHATI: Two more persons died of COVID-19 in Assam on Saturday while 1060 patients were discharged in the state from various COVID hospitals.

The deceased were identified as Binandi Ram Kalita (61) from Kamrup Metropolitan district and Sushil Shyamal (62) of Jorhat. The death toll in the state due to COVID-19 pandemic has gone up to 53.

Meanwhile, 1060 COVID-19 patients were  discharged from various hospitals in Assam on Saturday after their recovery , according to the Health Minister, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma who has lauded the efforts of the doctors and health workers for making it possible.
