3 new cases of Covid detected in Garo Hills

TURA: Three new arrivals in West Garo Hills district have tested positive for Covid-19 novel Corona virus raising the figure to 13 on Saturday.
This includes two other persons from the district who tested positive in Assam and have since come back to be admitted in the corona care centre.
West Garo Hills deputy commissioner Ram Singh informed that among the three persons who were found infected with the virus, one is a member of the border security force.
The other two are returnees from the state of Bihar.
All three were on institution quarantine since their arrival and after their test results showed positive for the infection they have been shifted to the corona care centres in Tura.
With the latest figure the five Garo Hills district now has a total of 18 active cases, namely West Garo Hills 13, South Garo Hills 2, and East, North and South West districts one each.
