SHILLONG: KHNAM MLA Adelbert Nongrum has urged the state government to file an FIR against two persons who had also attended the wedding at Greenwood Resort in Khanapara.
It may be mentioned that Health Minister AL Hek had, in a recent press conference, said that while 41 people from Shillong attended the wedding, two others were from Ri Bhoi district.
“An additional FIR from the DC is now required against the other two people as the health minister recently said that the number of attendants at the Khanapara wedding was 43 and not 41,” the KHNAM MLA said in a letter to Chief Minister Conrad Sangma.
He also requested the chief minister to pull out all the stops to trace the other attendees.
