Assam sets up 15th test lab for COVID-19

GUWAHATI: Assam Health and Family Welfare Minister, Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma today inaugurated the 15th laboratory for conducting COVID-19 in Assam at Dr B Barooah Cancer Institute and Research Centre here.

“Going ahead, our testing readiness and network of laboratories will determine our ability to contain a pandemic. Continuing our efforts to step up our infra, today I inaugurated Molecular Virology Laboratory at Dr B Barooah Cancer Institute. This is Assam’s 15th lab. Pride!,” tweeted Dr Sarma
