19 new cases detected in Meghalaya, active cases now 452

SHILLONG: With detection 19 new COVID-19 positive cases, the total number of active cases in Meghalaya has gone up to 452 till now

Out of new cases 13 cases were reported from BSF personnel in East Khasi Hills district, three reported from West Garo Hills and three others from South West Garo Hills.

As many as 379 cases have been detected so far in East Khasi Hills district alone including 282 among BSF personnel, 14 from Army and Assam Rifles besides 83 others.

So far, 42 COVID-19 positive cases have been detected in Ri Bhoi district.

Till now, 78 patients have recovered from COVID-19 in Meghalaya while only four deaths have occurred due to COVID-19 in the state till date.
