KHLIEHRIAT: The district administration of East Jaintia Hills has extended the validity of containment area tag for 48 hours in order to effectively complete the contact tracing of all high-risk and low-risk contacts of the index cases.
The villages include Khliehriat East, Khliehriat West, Dkhiah East, Deinchynrum, Sookilo and Mookympad.
Unregulated movement of people has been restricted in the six villages from 6 am of July 25 till 6 am of July27, the District Magistrate of East Jaintia Hills said in a statement issued here on Friday.
