Construction labourers engaged violating lockdown norms in Shillong

SHILLONG: Labourers were engaged in construction work violating lockdown and curfew guidelines at Motphran in the city, on Monday. The police in the area stopped them from working only after the photo was taken.

The lockdown which began in Shillong Agglomeration today will continue till mid night of July 29. The lockdown has been reimposed by the administration in view of the spike in COVID-19 positive cases and with the objective o break the chain on transmission of the virus.
