Odd-even rule for shops in Nongstoin

NONGSTOIN: With COVID-19 cases being reported in West Khasi Hills district, the village Durbar of New Nongstoin has decided to open shops in odd-even basis from now onwards.
It may be mentioned that as on Monday, three cases have been reported in the district.
Srally Rashir, headman of New Nongstoin said that because of the congestion in the New Nongstoin area, the village Durbar has resorted to such move.
Rashir said the village durbar has issued a strict protocol for every shop and for people who enter New Nongstoin, adding that with the implementation of stringent rules they will handle the situation.
He also said that the odd-even scheme for shops will be effective starting Tuesday.
