Two coal-laden trucks seized

SHILLONG: Police detected two coal-laden trucks in Kuliang village, East Jaintia Hills.The drivers of the trucks (NL-04D-6995 and NL-01AD-8448) fled from the spot.
The police, later, learned that the trucks belonged to Sultan Ahmed Barbhuiya and Hussain Ahmed, both from Cachar, Assam.
The persons involved in the illegal transportation are Rafikul Islam, Faruk Ahmed, Abdur Noor, Guljar Hussain Laskar, Kabir Ahmed and Kawsar Khan, who are all from Assam, the police said.
