BSF, BGB exchange sweets, greetings on Id-Ul-Zuha

SHILLONG: Border Security Force (BSF) troops exchanged sweets with Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB) on Saturday at Dawki-Tamabil border as a goodwill gesture on the occasion of Id-Ul-Zuha .
In the present scenario of COVID-19 and floods in the border area, troops from both sides are tackling smuggling and other trans-border crimes with coordination and trust.
UK Nayal, DIG/PRO BSF Meghalaya said there is a smooth exchange of information between the forces leading to prompt action being taken against perpetrators.
Kuldeep Saini, Inspector General, Meghalaya frontier, while conveying wishes to the Border Guard Bangladesh said, BSF and BGB while guarding the international border are also setting an unprecedented example of friendship and acting as an ambassador of their respective countries. He also wished the people of Meghalaya on the occasion of Id-Ul-Zuha.
