3-year-old  defeats COVID-19  in Assam

GUWAHATI: A 3-year-old boy from Assam who is a cancer survivor, has defeated COVID-19.  Bishal Das who was admitted to Gauhati Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) has recovered from the infection and is ready to leave the hospital today.

Assam health minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma in a tweet has expressed his best wishes to Bishal and his family.

“Our Bravest Hero. Such a delight to share that Bishal Das, a 3-year-old boy & a cancer survivor, has defeated #COVID19 & is ready to be back home with his loving family! Kudos to the extraordinary affection and finest care by #GMCH team. My best wishes to Bishal & family,” Dr Sarma said.
